After graduating from SUU with a BS degree in Physical Education—Coaching Emphasis, he was hired to coach the goalkeepers at the University of North Dakota. While teaching P.E. at Logan High School, he also Head Coached both the Boys and Girls teams. Sven spent six successful seasons at Logan High where he won a State Championship. His teams were State runners-up in three of those seasons, with multiple Region Championships as well. When the new Green Canyon High School was completed, Sven accepted a teaching position there. He began building the boys and girls soccer programs as the Head Coach. During this time, Sven also began coaching his oldest daughter within the Aggies FC program. Sven enjoyed serving as the Head Coach at Green Canyon for ten seasons. Sven recently stepped down from coaching at GCHS in order to spend more time with his family. He thoroughly enjoys coaching his two daughters, Keagan and Breckin, and his son, Boden, who play within the NUU program.
Sven is thrilled to continue coaching the youth of Cache Valley. He is excited to share his love, passion, and excitement for the beautiful game of soccer. He also looks forward to helping the kids learn and grow as both people and players.
