Create a fun, safe and challenging environment that is transparent in its purpose at all a levels. Families will be able
to clearly select the correct team, group, or program for their child due to our efforts as a club to demand each
program, team, group clearly explains what services are being provides, what the price of the services while also
outlining the expectations of each person involved; coach, player, administrators, parents etc.
By creating clear player pathways it is our intention to help families identify programs, environments and
competition levels that help them reach their goals and feed their ambition.
In the end, we want players to set goals and reach them by having the opportunities in our local community. As a
byproduct we hope to help families raise quality citizens that confidently contribute in our community when they
become adults while also having a life long passion for the game.
Culture & Core Values
The NUU culture is one of inclusion and opportunity. We aim to provide positive environments at all levels of training and competition. We value the independence of the majority of our teams while we also provide pathways for players on teams
with coaches that want to ambitiously conform to a style of play that is identifiable by the dedication and work rate of the
players as well as the NUU principles implemented on the field.
We value that every player and their family have different expectations of their experience in the sport. Everybody is
committed to a code of conduct while providing platforms for players, teams, groups and coaches dedicated to improving the soccer culture, through shared core values and expectations. We value each individual and strive to be supportive of our peers and colleagues as they chose the pathway that they believe provides the soccer experience that they desire.
“We are creating a culture that values developing players with a desire to earn the captains armband through their character, passion, work rate and reliability more than we value the MVP.”
